Volunteers are central to the work of the CAP/AIDS Network both in Canada and in partner communities in Africa!
Our volunteers across Canada help organize local events, champion the cause and raise funds for our work in Africa. Meanwhile, our volunteer mentors in Africa work with our African partners helping them to build capacity, network with other organizations, access funding sources and implement our joint projects.

Current volunteer opportunities in Canada
1. Organize an event and raise support for communities in East Africa. There are lots of ideas and we can help you get started. Host a musical night, a dinner, a play or organize a walk, a run, a ride or a read-a-thon. Let us know what you want to do and we’ll be happy to support your good work.
2. While we have organized a Toronto based meetup group we are seeking volunteers keen to take on a public role in coordinating development and global health related talks and skill exchanges. http://www.meetup.com/Canada-Africa-Partnerships/
3. If you are social media savvy, interested in writing or editing we would be grateful for your time and skills. This would be a three hour per week commitment.
4. Join us on the CAP RIDE committee. We coordinate a multiple organizational ride for projects in Africa every year which has raised several thousand dollars over the years. In 2016 we are seeking committee members to help organize the June ride.
